**Title:** Inviting Your Team
**Format:** Help article
**Audience:** New users
**Slug:** inviting-team
**Purpose:** Add team members to ReiSearch so you can collaborate on properties and deals.

**Content:**

ReiSearch lets you work with team members on the same properties. You can invite people to your account, set their permissions, and share properties for collaboration.

### Inviting Someone to ReiSearch

Before you can collaborate with someone, they need a ReiSearch account. Three ways to invite them:

**From the Directory** — Open the Directory from the sidebar. Click "Invite to ReiSearch" in the upper right. Enter the person's name and email. An invitation is sent with a link to create an account.

**From your Network** — Go to Network > Invitation Tracker. Click "Send Invitation." Enter the email and an optional message.

**From Google Contacts** — If Google Contacts is connected through the App Center, your imported contacts appear in the Dashboard sidebar. Click "Invite" next to any contact to send an invitation.

The invitation email includes a sign-up link. Once they create an account and verify their email, they appear in your network as a connection.

### Adding Team Members to Your Team

Go to Settings > Teams. Create a team or select an existing one. Click "Add Member" and enter the person's email address. They receive a notification that they have been added to your team.

Team members can see properties shared with the team and communicate in property threads.

### Permissions Levels

Team permissions control what each member can do:

- **View** — Can see shared properties and documents. Cannot edit or share further.
- **Edit** — Can update property details, add documents, and run comps on shared properties.
- **Admin** — Can edit properties, share with others, and manage team membership.

Set permissions when you add a member. You can change them later from the team management screen.

### Sharing Properties with Your Team

To share a property with your team:

- Open the property from Drafts or Shared.
- Click "Share" or the share icon.
- Select your team from the recipient list. You can also share with individual team members.
- Choose the permission level for this sharing action.

Shared properties appear in the team members' Shared tab and in property threads associated with the deal.

### Managing Team Access

- **Remove a team member** — Go to Settings > Teams. Find the member and click "Remove." They lose access to all team-shared properties.
- **Change permissions** — Adjust at any time from the team management screen. Changes take effect immediately.
- **Transfer ownership** — Team ownership is tied to the account that created the team. Contact Support if you need to transfer ownership.

### Team Communication

Once a property is shared, team members can discuss it in the property's thread. Open the property and go to the Threads section. All team members with access to the property can see and reply to messages there.

**Next steps:**
- Connecting with People (Network)
- Property Threads
- Sharing a Property
- Teams Overview (Settings)

**Status:** Draft v0.1

### Notes for Neo
- The platform doc mentions Teams under Settings but does not specify exact permission levels (View/Edit/Admin). I used standard team permission patterns. If the actual permission model is different, I can update.
- The Teams feature pricing may be tied to specific plans (Team plan at $500/mo per the ideas-feedback doc). I did not include pricing here since that doc was marked for awareness only. If Teams has plan requirements, let me know and I will add them.
