**Purpose:** Understand what happens when you run out of tokens and how to get more.

Tokens power every action on ReiSearch: running comps, generating presentations, accessing premium data, and more. When your balance reaches zero, the platform pauses paid actions until you replenish.

### What Happens at Zero Tokens

The platform shows a purchase modal with three options:

- **Buy a token bundle** — One-time purchases with no bonus (except the $500 bundle which includes +10% bonus tokens). Tokens never expire.
- **Upgrade your plan** — Higher-tier plans include larger monthly token allowances and higher bonus percentages. Core starts at +10% bonus tokens per month.
- **Earn tokens through the checklist** — Complete remaining onboarding checklist items to earn free tokens. Visit the Dashboard to see available tasks.

Free plan users cannot run comps without tokens or pay-as-you-go credit. Paid plan users who exhaust their monthly allowance can purchase extra tokens at any time.

### How to Check Your Balance

Open the Dashboard. The Tokens Wallet card shows:

- Total Balance — all tokens from every source
- Purchased Tokens — one-time bundles you bought
- Available Monthly Subscription Tokens — tokens from your current billing cycle

Purchased tokens remain unused until monthly tokens are depleted.

### Monthly Allowance and Rollover

Monthly tokens reset at the start of each billing cycle. They do not roll over. Purchased tokens remain in your wallet until you spend them.

### Token-Earning Options

- **Invite a friend** — Earn 1,000 bonus tokens when your referral joins ReiSearch. Track status in Billing.
- **Complete checklist items** — Profile setup, networking actions, and property tasks each reward tokens on completion.

### Still Running Out Too Fast

If you consistently run out before the end of your billing cycle:

- Check your Monthly Usage Activity log in Billing to see where tokens are going.
- Consider upgrading to a plan with a higher monthly allowance.
