Use these blocks when a reader needs to understand the property and the proposed transaction without switching between a deck and a spreadsheet.
Verify the source before inserting a block
Open the linked property and review its Property Details, Additional Info, and Deal Structure. Check the property identity, price, financing terms, and any source figures you plan to emphasize. A block can only communicate the information available for that property.
Return to the presentation and expand the Elements panel. There are two different sources:
| Panel | Appropriate content |
|---|---|
| Property Details | Characteristics, available additional information, and a property-summary block |
| Deal Structure | Transaction terms, deal summary, entry-cost summary, Net to Seller, and available calculations |
Add the property summary
- Select the slide where the reader should meet the property.
- Expand Property Details.
- Drag the available property-summary card onto the canvas.
- Resize it to leave enough space for a title and explanation.
- Inspect the actual populated values before moving on.
The summary depends on available property and deal information. If it is missing, check those sources rather than adding a summary for a different property.
For a sparse cover slide, drag only the individual fields you need instead of the whole summary. Available entries can include property characteristics and values from additional property information. Fields without usable source values may not appear.
Add transaction terms
- Select a separate deal slide.
- Expand Deal Structure and allow its data to load.
- Drag a deal summary, entry-cost summary, Net to Seller block, or individual term onto the slide.
- Arrange the blocks so they tell one story rather than repeating the same amount in several forms.
- Add a plain-language explanation of the proposal beside the numbers.
An entry-cost summary and a seller-proceeds comparison answer different questions. Entry costs help explain what a buyer needs to bring to the opportunity. Net to Seller helps explain proceeds and transaction deductions. Do not treat them as interchangeable totals.
Explain calculations and assumptions
The panel includes Traditional Sales Offer items and additional computations when supported by the deal data. Review the labels, percentages, and amounts actually displayed. A displayed closing-cost or commission assumption is not proof that the specific transaction uses that amount.
For example, if you compare a proposed structure with a traditional sale, state which costs and terms are assumptions and confirm them against the relevant transaction information. Avoid labeling the result as guaranteed savings or proceeds.
For a custom calculation embedded in text, use Link Fields and Formula Builder rather than typing an unexplained total.
Reuse the layout for another property
Property-backed blocks carry bindings that can be resolved for another property when used through the template workflow. Manually typed text and custom images still need review.
After applying a template, check the property identity, every financial block, any available source data, and the final preview. Never assume a matching layout means the new property’s facts have all been reviewed.
Fix missing or unexpected values
- No property details with values available: verify the linked property and complete the needed source fields.
- Deal structure is still loading: wait for it to finish before placing or exporting the block.
- A number is blank, zero, or unexpected: compare it with the source field and the calculation’s assumptions. Missing data is not automatically zero.
- A copied price stays unchanged: check whether it is typed text or a bound value.
- A reused summary does not fit: resize and rearrange the block, then check group and layout tools.
Finish with Save → Save Presentation, open Preview, and inspect the slide as a reader would see it.
