01 Public Profile

Your public profile is how other ReiSearch users see you. It appears in the Directory, on property cards you share, and when users search for you. What you choose to make public (or keep private) affects your discoverability.

Public vs. Private Information

Always public: - Name and profile photo. - Location tags (cities/areas you entered). - Expertise badges. - Buy boxes (if set to Public visibility). - Social media links (if added).

Controlled by visibility settings: - Phone number — Public, Network, or Private. - Email address — Public, Network, or Private. - Company name and logo — Visible on shared properties and presentations.

Always private: - Account settings and password. - Token balance. - Property drafts (not published or shared). - Billing and subscription details.

Directory Listing

Your profile appears in the Directory automatically when you complete at least the basic fields (name, photo, location, expertise).

Directory search results display:

  • Profile photo and name.
  • Location and expertise badges.
  • Connection count and points (engagement score).
  • Contact options (based on your visibility settings).

Expertise Badges

Expertise selections appear as colored badge tags in your Directory listing and Network profile. They help other users understand your role at a glance: Buyer, Acquisitions, Lead Generator, Wholesaler, and others.

Badges are set in Settings > Expertise. Choose the options that match your business. Selecting too many dilutes the signal. Selecting too few may make you harder to find.

Profile Completeness and Rankings

Your profile completion percentage (shown on the Dashboard) directly affects:

  • Directory ranking — More complete profiles rank higher in search results.
  • Connection acceptance — Users are more likely to accept connection requests from complete profiles.
  • Buy box visibility — Publishers see complete profiles as more credible partners.

The system calculates completeness based on: profile picture, public info (name, location, bio), social media links, expertise, and buy box.

Public Profile Routes

Your public profile is accessible at /profile/:slug where :slug is your user identifier. The Dashboard link and Directory entries point here. Users who visit your profile see your buy boxes, shared properties (if applicable), and contact options based on your visibility settings.

Updating Your Profile
