How Matchmaking Works

The AI analyzes your profile, buy boxes, and platform activity to understand what you are looking for:

• Your buy box criteria (price range, location, deal types).
• Your expertise areas and stated goals.
• Properties you have shared, published, or saved.
• Your existing network connections and their profiles.

It then searches for users whose profiles and behavior suggest a good match:

• Buyers whose buy boxes match properties you publish.
• Sellers whose published properties match your buy box.
• Investors with complementary expertise (e.g., you wholesale and they rehab).
• Active users in your target markets.

Where Match Suggestions Appear

Match suggestions appear in:

• Dashboard — A suggested connections section on the right panel.
• Network > Matchmaking — A dedicated page with all current suggestions.
• Notifications — When a high-quality match is found, you receive an alert.

Match Quality Indicators

Each suggested connection includes a match quality indicator:

• Strong match — Multiple alignment points. High likelihood of a productive connection.
• Good match — Some alignment. Worth connecting and exploring.
• Possible match — Limited alignment but in the same market or expertise area.

Indicators are based on the overlap between your activity and the other user's activity, not just static profile data.

Accepting Match Suggestions

When you see a match you are interested in:

1. Click on the suggestion to view the user's profile.
2. Review their buy box, expertise, and shared properties.
3. Click "Connect" to send a connection request. The match quality note is included with your request so they know why you are reaching out.
4. Add a personal message to improve acceptance chances.

Declining Suggestions

If a suggested match is not relevant:

• Click "Not Interested." The AI learns from this and adjusts future suggestions.
• A user will not know you declined. They only see you have not accepted.

Improving Your Matches

To get better suggestions:

• Complete your profile — Incomplete profiles generate lower quality matches.
• Keep your buy box current — Stale or broad buy boxes produce less relevant suggestions.
• Be active — The AI considers recent activity. A profile that has not logged in for months generates fewer suggestions.

Privacy

Matchmaking is based on your public information and activity. Private data (drafts, passwords, billing) is not used. You can opt out of matchmaking from Settings > Privacy.
